Our Clients are seeking an experienced Carpet and Flooring Estimator / Insurance assessor to work in the Leicestershire area.The role involves calling on Insurance claimants in their homes and business premises and assisting with the processing of and assessment of Insurance claims for damages and recommending the most suitable available replacements.The role requires the following skills..
A sound knowledge of products within the Carpet and Flooring market, and the ability to recognise or to identify the type, manufacturer and currently available equivalent replacement product.Measuring and Estimating skills in order to maximise the best possible usage of carpet and therefore ensuring the most cost effective solution to the clients problem whilst also minimising the cost to the insurer.Strong customer service and empathy skills - it is likely that you will be dealing with people in unhappy circumstances and therefore it is important that you are able to both put them at ease and assist with the efficient processing of their claim.Competent ability to complete relevant claim documentation and also to be able to source the correct product information from supplied catalogues or the Internet.Excellent communication skills as your role will involve daily contact with members of the companies staff and also with the relevant insurance company.The ability and the work ethic to organise your working week and to navigate as time effectively as possible within covered area.The company offer an opportunity to progress your retail flooring career away from the usual Retail environment.To discuss this and other similar roles please call us today.

        Retail Sales Representative - Essex

Carpet Roles UK are seeking on behalf of their clients (Part of the largest flooring distribution company in the UK) an experienced Retail Sales Representative to call upon carpet shops and fitters in the Essex area.

Experience of working in the carpet and flooring market place is required, but may the roles may suit an experienced retailer who is looking for an opportunity to move into a Field Sales role.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential for this business building role. Excellent commision and career progression is available to the right candidate along with a good basic salary, company car and BUPA healthcare.

Ideally the client is seeking an experienced flooring market specialist who is used to a Distributor / Retailer type relationship.

Products to be sold are primarilly carpet (on both roll-stock and Cut-length basis) though peripheral items such as underlays and matting and rugs and vinyls are also part of the product range the company can offer.

Self motivation and a desire and a tenacity to succeed are other key factors that the client takes into account, as stated the prospects for progression are excellent.
